"Cabo Colors #5"
© David A. Ziser

I made this image while on a morning stroll around Cabo San Lucas this past January. It's just a simple shot of some leaves but I liked the repeat of the patterns and colors. A little bit of Photoshop yielded the finished result. Canon 30D with 100mm macro lens at F16 @1/00 second at ISO 800. Enjoy! --David

  1. Excellent Shot!

  2. nice colors and pattern. do you have a before image to compare to? it would be very interesting to see. what exactly did you do to in PS?....nice job.

  3. Hey David:

I absolutely LOVE this shot.. great pattern and color. Just wanted to tell you I am loving the blog. Keep it up, we miss ya over this way. Im telling everyone to check out Digital Pro Talk!

  4. The leaves just appear from the darkness and disappear into the darkness again. Its a brief moment captured - like life. We appear and we disappear.

The form, line, colour, depth and movement is beautiful, all these elements work in harmony. Thanks very much David, I so enjoy this picture.

    Best wishes
