"Something Special"
©David A. Ziser
Here is an image I made at yesterday's wedding. It was taken just moments before the ceremony was to begin. Instead of carrying a bouquet of flowers, the bride chose to carry the same bible that her mother and grandmother had carried on their wedding day. I zoomed in close to the bible and cropped the bride right below the nose. You can almost feel, in the easy expression of her lips, how the bible speaks to "something very special" for her on her wedding day. Camera specs: Canon 7D fitted with a 70-200mm IS lens at 130mm, F 4.0 @ 1/250 second, ISO 200. Enjoy! David

  1. David,
If you look at the statistics from your Lightroom data base of your 70 - 200 mm shots, how many have then been taken at below f4.0 ? - The reason for this question is that I love the low weight of my 70 - 200 mm/f4.0 (and the price!), but sometimes wonder if the f2.8 is worth the extra price and weight for wedding photography. Your answer would give some nice guidance.
    Thanks, PeP/Copenhagen
